The federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in South Carolina supports training programs that help job seekers prepare for employment and businesses access skilled workers. WIA services are delivered through the state’s comprehensive SC Works system. SC Works Centers in most counties offer job seekers and businesses access to employment and training opportunities, as well as other services provided by Sc Works system partner agencies that support employment and training.
